We support Works Councils in all types of ongoing legal issues. We have particular expertise in restructuring and complex transactions. We often advise Works Councils in IT, data protection, social media, and variable compensation cases as well.
We also advise employees and managers, especially in the banking, insurance and financial sectors. We provide advice to managing directors and executives in contract and liability matters, and counsel investment bankers where bonuses and contract cancellation agreements are concerned.
We are particularly experienced in representing employees in internal investigations (FED, SEC, BAFIN, ECB), doing so in German or English as circumstances may warrant.
The situation for whistleblowers in Germany is especially precarious. Rather than taking that as a given, our approach is proactive. Together with our clients we develop strategies to ensure that we involve the right media and the right regulatory law contacts at the right time.
We support start-ups in a number of ways: from founding, through articles of incorporation and employment contracts, up through first hiring.
We also advise employees in all other areas of labor law such as terminations, written warnings, and perks of all kinds. Our clients benefit from our hundreds of appearances before the labor law courts.
